Compact outdoor world for ants

The outside world forms the part of the enclosure where the ants can forage outside the nest. Here, insects, seeds, nectar, water, or other species-appropriate food can easily be offered.

With dimensions of 12 × 12 × 10 cm, the Premium Modular Outdoor World Small offers a nice balance between a compact size and ample foraging space.

Furthermore, the transparent walls provide an excellent view of the ants. This allows you to closely observe the foraging behavior of the colony, and makes it easy to keep the outside clean and remove food debris.

Modularly expandable

The Premium Modular Outdoor World Small is fully integrated into our Premium Modular series. This allows the outdoor world to be connected to an ant nest or other module in various ways.

The connections are suitable for a 9 mm hose. This allows the outside world to be connected via a hose to, for example, an ant nest or other suitable extension.

In addition, all nests and compatible modules from the Premium Modular series can be connected directly to each other using a matching connector. This allows the outside world to be placed directly next to a nest module and become part of one complete modular system.

As a colony grows, additional nest modules or other compatible parts can subsequently be connected.

Exits with lockable gates

The exits are equipped with practical airlocks that allow the connections to be opened and closed.

This allows you to keep an output closed as long as it is not in use. If you want to connect a Nest, Hose, or other module later, the relevant connection can be opened in a controlled manner.

The airlocks are also practical when adjusting or temporarily disconnecting parts of the system. This gives you more control over the connections without having to immediately modify the entire accommodation.

Part of one Premium system

The Premium Modular Outdoor World Small is designed to be combined with the other parts from the same series.

For example, the outside world can be connected to the Premium Modular Foundation Nest, Premium Modular Plaster Nest, or Premium Modular 3D Nest. As the colony grows, the system can be further expanded with additional compatible modules.

This allows you to put together an enclosure yourself that suits the size and development of your ant colony.
