The outdoor world is handcrafted, carefully assembled, and finished. The combination of the sturdy base, transparent walls, and modular connection system creates a luxurious appearance and makes this larger outdoor world particularly suitable for growing and larger ant colonies.

Spacious outside world for ants

The outside world forms the part of the enclosure where the ants can forage outside the nest. Here, insects, seeds, nectar, water, or other species-appropriate food can easily be offered.

With dimensions of 18.5 × 18.5 × 14 cm, the Premium Modular Outdoor World Large offers significantly more foraging space than the Small version. This provides more room for feed and water facilities, and ensures that larger numbers of worker bees have sufficient space to be active simultaneously.

Furthermore, the transparent walls provide an excellent view of the ants. This allows you to closely observe the foraging behavior of the colony, and makes it easy to keep the outside clean and remove food debris.

Handmade and carefully finished

The Premium Modular Outdoor World Large is manually assembled and finished. Attention is paid to both functionality and appearance.

The sturdy base forms a single unit with the connections of the modular system, while the transparent exterior ensures that the colony remains clearly visible from various angles.

As a result, the exterior fits perfectly with the other nests and modules from the Premium Modular series in terms of design and appearance.

Modularly expandable

The Premium Modular Outdoor World Large is fully integrated into our Premium Modular series. This allows the outdoor world to be connected to an ant nest or other module in various ways.

The connections are suitable for a 9 mm hose. This allows the outside world to be connected via a hose to, for example, an ant nest or other suitable extension.

In addition, all nests and compatible modules from the Premium Modular series can be connected directly to each other using a matching connector. This allows the outside world to be placed directly next to a nest module and become part of one complete modular system.

As a colony continues to grow, additional nest modules or other compatible components can be connected.

Exits with lockable gates

The exits are equipped with practical airlocks that allow the connections to be opened and closed.

This allows you to keep an output closed as long as it is not in use. If you want to connect a Nest, Hose, or other module later, the relevant connection can be opened in a controlled manner.

The airlocks are also practical when adjusting or temporarily disconnecting parts of the system. This gives you more control over the connections without having to immediately modify the entire accommodation.

Part of one Premium system

The Premium Modular Outdoor World Large is designed to be combined with the other components from the same series.

For example, the outside world can be connected to the Premium Modular Foundation Nest, Premium Modular Plaster Nest, or Premium Modular 3D Nest. As the colony grows, the system can be further expanded with additional compatible modules.

Thanks to its larger size, the Large version is an excellent choice when a colony begins to outgrow the smaller outdoor environment, or when you want more space from the start for providing food and observing foraging workers.
