The Premium Modular 3D Nest is a high-quality, partially handmade ant nest for growing ant colonies. The nest is part of the same Premium Modular series and combines a cleverly designed chamber system with a compact, sturdy housing and excellent capabilities for observing the colony.

Each module is assembled and finished by hand, allowing extra attention to be paid to the finish and functionality of the nest. Combined with the 3D-designed nest interior, the result is a modern and practical ant nest with a high-quality appearance.

Measuring 12.5 × 12.5 × 3 cm, this module offers a good amount of nesting space without becoming unnecessarily large. Furthermore, thanks to the modular design, the system can be easily expanded as the colony continues to grow.

Handmade 3D nest

The nest features a specially designed 3D nest interior with chambers of various shapes and sizes. The chambers are connected by passageways, allowing the ants to easily move throughout the entire nest.

The various spaces can be used by the colony for, for example, housing brood and collecting workers.

The nest is assembled and finished by hand. The 3D-manufactured interior simultaneously allows for the precise shaping of the rooms and passageways, combining functionality with a refined appearance.

Good view of the colony

The transparent top ensures that the majority of the nest remains clearly visible. This allows you to easily see how the colony uses the different chambers and how the brood is developing.

This makes the nest not only practical for the ants, but also interesting for the owner. A large part of the natural behavior of the colony can be observed without having to open the nest.

Integrated humidification

The Premium Modular 3D Nest features a practical option to supply the nest with moisture via the water tower.

The ants can then independently seek out the parts of the nest that best suit their needs.

Modularly expandable

The Premium Modular 3D Nest is part of our Premium Modular nest series. The system has been developed so that the housing can grow with the ant colony.

The nest features a connection suitable for a 9 mm hose. This allows the nest to be connected to, for example, the outside world, another nest module, or another suitable expansion.

Additionally, all nests in this Premium Modular series can be connected directly to each other using a matching connector. This allows you to combine different modules and assemble a larger nest system when the colony is ready for it.

For example, a colony can grow from the Premium Modular Foundation Nest into this larger 3D nest, while the existing system can remain part of the setup.

Exits with lockable gates

The exits of the nest are equipped with practical small gates that allow the connection to be opened or closed.

This allows you to keep an unused outlet closed and only open it when, for example, a new nest module or the outside world is connected. The airlocks also provide extra control when disconnecting or modifying the system.

In combination with the connectors and 9 mm hose connection, this creates a flexible system that can be assembled in various ways.

Part of one Premium system

The major advantage of the Premium Modular series is that you do not have to use a completely new enclosure every time the colony grows.

For example, start with a small foundation nest and add this Premium Modular 3D Nest as soon as more nesting space is needed. As the colony subsequently grows, compatible modules can be connected again.
