We wanted to get started exploring the wonderful world of ant colonies.

The starter colony has grown into a nicobarensis ant. A queen with brood and a good number of workers.
They endured the journey well.
I'm curious to see how they'll thrive in their new environment.

It's interesting that I hear everywhere that Harpegathos venator only accepts live ones, and here they indicate that they DO also like honey or syrup.

I normally order elsewhere, or print things out and create them myself. Because it's fun to have done something yourself, and Ants are number 1, of course, I thought it was time for a change. I've already ordered and done so much and was looking for something new and a new challenge. I ordered feeder bottles, food bowls, and 3q Fugax ant nests. They were in two tubes instead of one, which is what I expect when I order a 3q nest, but this isn't a problem; they do come together. Now the next tube, tube 1, looked fine. Tube 2 was one of the two q dead and water through the cotton wool in the intermediate chamber (not full, but if you straighten it out, it does run through). I don't know if there was brood and duckweed in it, but it looks too messy now. I've put them at a slight angle, and I'm sure it will be fine. I don't know what happened, but maybe a "fragile" sticker was put on the boxes. Otherwise, the feeders and containers looked neat. I'll definitely check out what other supplies you have. Everything else looked tip-top. The information was included. I also think it's great that they don't ship after Thursday because they might wander elsewhere for days. They're thinking of the ants, which they don't do everywhere. Regards,

A few weeks ago, I bought a Messor Barbarus queen, a Pheidole Pallidula queen, test tubes, and some food. I also got a Lasius Niger queen for free. All were well fed and well cared for. I
also received workers, but unfortunately, the Lasius queen died suddenly after having her first workers (I don't know why).

Despite that, I'm satisfied and will definitely order again.

Very good quality, the queen arrived alive and healthy. There was plenty of seed and plenty of larvae and brood. The colony had 13 workers at the time of delivery. A truly enjoyable species to keep, and it's definitely worth ordering this and observing the ants. Definitely worth the small price.

Tip: be very careful and keep them in one place as much as possible; they are very sensitive.

I initially ordered Myrmica Rubra from them, but due to a website error, it was still online, even though it wasn't in stock. They promptly reported it via WhatsApp, and it was resolved promptly.
I've now ordered and received a healthy colony of Pheidole pallidula, 15-30 workers, but I count many more. A nice, active ant species, by the way.
