Humidification system:
The nest has a specially developed mesh humidification system. Water can be added to the two water reservoirs located inside the nest, one at the top and one at the bottom. We recommend placing a piece of cotton wool in the reservoir and moistening it. This will ensure better moisture distribution.

Advantages:
The advantage of this nest is that it's made of hard material, which is very beneficial for Messor species, for example, as they can easily gnaw through soft nesting materials. Also, seeds collected by some ants won't germinate, as most of this nest is dry.

Disadvantages:
The nest is slightly less suitable for ant species that require a highly humid habitat.
