Tetramorium caespitum is a species in the Myrmicinae subfamily. This species grows quickly and is very active. They are easy to keep because they don't require high environmental demands. They are difficult to escape, but with a formicarium (enclosure) from our webshop, you don't have to worry. We consider this a very good alternative to Lasius niger as a starter species.
