Manica rubida is a species in the subfamily myrmicinea. This species has a wonderful hunting instinct and they can sting quite a bit. The species is very difficult to breed if you have a single queen because they are semi-claustral, meaning they have no food reserves and therefore need to be fed during the founding stage.
