Sometimes an ant colony becomes infested with mites. This can be seen by the presence of several or even hundreds of tiny white creatures crawling around in and on the setup. This treatment is specifically designed to combat this.
How does it work:
The anti-mite creates an adhesive barrier. When mites pass through it, they become stuck and their joints are immobilized, which then leads to the extinction of the mites.
How to apply:
The anti-mite spray is best applied to glass/plastic. Apply the anti-mite spray to the outside of the test tube and the outside of the test tube. The appropriate application location depends on your setup. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Make sure the inside of the outer world is well coated with fluon and keep the lid of the outer world open during treatment so that the mites can easily reach the treated area.
Treatment period:
This depends on the number of mites. We recommend leaving the anti-mite product on for at least one week. Continue this process until no living mites are visible. Once the problem is resolved, clean the treated areas with a damp cloth.
WARNING!:
Never use the anti-mite spray in places where ants can also walk over, so treat specifically the areas out of reach of ants!
