What does an ant colony consist of?
At Quality Ants, we have everything you need to start your own ant colony. The most important player in an ant colony is the queen ant. She lays eggs that develop into larvae and then pupae, from which the worker ant emerges. These workers work hard to provide the colony with food. In our online store, you can buy a queen with brood and a number of workers, for example, 10 or 50, to start your ant colony. Choose which breed interests you most; we have varieties suitable for beginner ant keepers and those suitable for true ant experts. The Messor barbarus and Camponotus nicobarensis are some of our favorites!
