Complete your modular ant nest and easily expand the system with the Connector Set for modular ant nests. The various connectors are designed to easily connect nests, outdoor areas, test tubes, and other components. This allows you to adapt and expand the habitat as the ant colony grows.

Thanks to the modular design, you don't have to provide a large nest right away. You can start with a smaller setup and connect additional nest modules or a larger outdoor unit later. The connectors can be easily inserted and removed whenever you want to change the setup.

Choice of various connections

The connectors are available in multiple versions, so you can decide for yourself which connection best suits your setup:

• Screw connector – for securely and directly connecting modular parts.
• 9 mm tubing connector – suitable for connecting a tubing with a diameter of 9 mm.
• 10 mm tubing connector – suitable for a 10 mm tubing.
• 13 mm tubing connector – for larger connections and species where a wider passage is desired.
• Test tube connector – allows a test tube to be connected directly to the modular system. Ideal for relocating a colony or connecting a starter colony.
• Mesh cap – securely seals an unused opening while the metal mesh provides ventilation.

Modular expansion

The major advantage of these connectors is their flexibility. When a colony needs more space, you can easily connect an extra nest or the outside world. Unused connections can also be closed off or provided with ventilation.

As a result, the enclosure grows with the colony, as it were, and you can create different setups without having to purchase a completely new formicarium every time.
